Subject — Motivational Styles Questionnaire
Description The purpose of this study was to examine the usefulness of Motivational Styles Questionnaire (MSQ) from a critical reflective perspective. The MSQ was administered to a random sample of managerial and consulting employees within the banking and information technology sector (N = 221). In order to examine the underlying factor structure and the corresponding reliabilities, a principal factor analysis was conducted, which yielded promising results. The findings of the critical analysis further revealed a number of gaps in the recommendations regarding the use of this instrument.
