Description The black population of South Africa consists of several different ethnic groups, each with its own historical identity. Seven of these groups have homelands, they are the Xhosa of Ciskei, the Zulu of KwaZulu, the Swazi of Kangwane, the Changana/Tonga of Gazankulu, the Basotho of Qwa- Qwa, the North Sotho of Lebowa, and the Venda of Venda.
