In this article a short introduction is given to the concept ‘convenant’. Pont’s view of the church in the light of the convenant is examined, and it is shown that this leads to a ‘Volkskerk’ view. Ultimately there seems to be a close connection between ‘Volkskerk’ and what is peculiar to the ‘volk’. | |
