Eight species are now recognized in the genus, including the new combinations Daubenya comata (Burch, ex Baker) J.C.Manning A.M.van der Merwe and D. zeyheri (Kunth) J.C.Manning A.M.van der Merwe. Each species is fully described and illustrated in black-and-white and in colour. A key to the species, and distribution maps are provided.
