Description The herbarium pest Uposcelis bostry chophilus is described and illustrated. Aspects of the insect's life cycle and eradication are discussed. Where possible, non-toxic methods, such as sterile-entry techniques of control, should be used. If infestations are epidemic and serious damage is being incurred, there may be no alternative but to use pesticides or fumigants.
