Description A new species of Fossombronia, F cederbergensis. from the winter rainfall area of the Northern and Western Cape is described. It is characterized by ruched leaves that are mostly wider than long, by tuberous stem apices that enable the plants to survive the hot, dry summers and by completely or incompletely reticulate spores.
