Description Sport is ‘n toenemend mededingende gebied van kundigheid, dus is dit noodsaaklik dat ‘natleet te alle tye op die hoogste moontlike vlak kan presteer. Baie afrigters en atlete is onder dievalse indruk dat prestasie uitsluitlik bepaal word deur fisiese vermoëns en as gevolg daarvanhet hulle versuim om in ag te neem faktore soos: fiksheidsvlakke, visuele vaardighede, liggaam samestelling, voedingstatus en die lewenstyl van die atlete. Sport has become an increasingly competitive field of expertise, thus it is imperative that an athlete is able to perform at the highest level possible at all times. Many coaches and athletes are under the falseimpression that performance is solely determined by physical capabilities and as a result, theyfail to account for compounding factors such as: fitness levels, visual skills, body composition, nutritional status and the lifestyle habits of the athletes.
