Description Lugbesoedeling is tans ’n baie ernstige probleem oor die Hoëveld van Suid-Afrika. Die Hoëveldstreek is ook een van Suid-Afrika se belangrike mielie produserende areas. The objectives for this study was to determine the effect of SO₂ and O₃ on the expression of POD activity in maize plants. SO₂ and O₃ individually induced POD activity but the combined effect failed to induce POD activity.
