Merrill)-potproef is aangeplant met drie kultivars (Forrest, Prima en A5409) wat tydens planting sonder (0) en met twee Bradyrhizobium japonicum-rasse (WB1 en WB74) geïnokideer is. Die doel is om die effek van kultivar- rhizobuim-kombinasies op biomassa en N afkomstig van die atmosfeer (Nava) te ondersoek en die atmosferiese N -opname soos bepaal met die isotooptegniek, met die resultate van die konvensionele metode te vergelyk. Die grond is vooraf met ¹⁵N verryk. Die plante is na rypwording ge-oes en die droë massa van die plantkomponente bepaal. A pot experiment was conducted, using three soyabean (Giycinc max (L.) Merrill) cultivars (Forrest, Prima and A5409) inoculated at planting, with no (0) and two Bradyrhizobium japonicum strains (WB1 and WB74). The objectives were to investigate the effect of cultivar-rhizobial strain combinations on biomass and N derived from the atmosphere (Ndfa) and to compare the atmospheric N uptake determined by the isolope technique, with the conventional method. | |
