| Description | Miokardiale perfusiebeelding met ⁹⁹ᴹTc-gemerkte metoksi-isobutielisosianied (MIBI) is 'n belangrike ondersoek by pasiënte met koronêrevaatsiekte. In hierdie studie is MIBI(UVHART) chemies gesintetiseer, in bobhejane geëvalueer en klinies aangewend. Die sintese is ’n driestapproses waarna UVHART-stelletjies saamgestel, gevriesdroog en vir pirogeniteit en steriliteit getoets is. Imaging of the myocardium with ⁹⁹ᴹTc labelled methoxy isobutyl isocyanide (MIBI) is an important examination in the management of patients with coronary artery disease. In this study MIBI (UVHART) was locally synthesised, evaluated in baboons and clinically used. The synthesis was a three-step process, after which UVHART kits were prepared, freeze dried and tested for pyrogenity and sterility. | |
