In huidige studies, is diein vitro effek van C19, ‘n unieke 17-beta-estradiol analoog (0.2μM en blootstellingstyd van 24 uur) op die esofaguskarsinoom SNO sellyn getoets. Compound C19 was tested on the esophageal carcinoma SNO cell line. Results showed induction of apoptosis and autophagy induced by C19. This contributes towards understanding its action. | |
