Description Plasmablastic lymphomas are high-grade lymphomas that usually occur in immune-suppressed patients. Occasionally, they can arise from an underlying haematolymphoid malignancy, termed ‘transformed plasmablastic lymphoma’. In this report, we describe a case of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and plasmablastic lymphoma in an elderly HIV-negative patient.
