Description Cognitive and personality correlates of attention. The principal aim of the study was to determine the cognitive and personality correlates of attention. Two contrasting groups were formed on the basis of scores from a self report inventory of attention. These two groups were compared in terms of the NSAG, the SAT, the 16PF and the JPQ. With the aid of the Hotelling T2 it was found that the vectors of means scores of the two contrasting groups differed statistically significantly from one another in respect of both the cognitive and personality variables.
