| Description | The place of selection tests comprising work samples is discussed briefly. Situations in industry where this selection approach is applicable and those in which general psychological tests are sufficient are not always distinguished properly. An example of a situation in which work simulation is warranted for selection purposes, is the case of the sewing machine operator. A battery including machine tests constructed for this selection task is described.
